The Padre Motel is located in the heart of the Grand Staircase - Escalante National Monument in south-central Utah on National Scenic Byway 12. We have twelve units that are clean and comfortable to accommodate your stay. Being situated in the center of Escalante, we are within walking distance of the local grocery store, service stations, medical clinic, and restaurants. We are small enough that customer hospitality is still our first priority. The Padre Motel is the preferred lodging for travelers of discerning taste. Whether you are stopping in for the night or putting down roots because you don’t want to leave; the Padre Motel can be the “je ne sais quoi” of your stay in Escalante, Utah.

The Padre Motel is a seasonal lodging accommodation. We are open from April 18th to October 31st and closed from November 1st to April 17th. We are closed on Sundays. We accept Saturday night stays with Sunday morning departures. We do not accept Sunday night stays or staying through Sunday with a prior arrival. The reservation system will deny any reservations that include Sunday.
